Our valued client is seeking a proactive Housekeeper for their property in Kensington.  Working alongside 2 other housekeepers, teamwork is key to ensure smooth flow of service throughout. The family comprises 2 principals, 3 children and 3 dogs, so a love for animals is essential. Your duties will cover general housekeeping and care of bespoke furnishings, laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management with experience in the care of delicate garments.

Responsibilities:

• Laundry washing with experience in the care of delicate garments, handling of expensive clothing – hand washing, silks, cashmere, dry cleaning etc
• Wardrobe management for the principals
• General housekeeping and care of furnishings
• Assist in managing stock control, ordering household/cleaning supplies
• Regular deep cleaning when the principals are out of the home
• Caring for valuable possessions – training will be given where necessary
• Dog maintenance; bed changing, feeding, cleaning up, grooming

Ideal Candidate:

• Friendly, unflappable, and able to handle a demanding family at times
• Must have an eye for detail
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to use your initiative and work in a team and independently
• Punctual and reliable
• Understanding of the importance of discretion in the role
