A good housekeeper provides the client with a wide variety of professional domestic services and takes on the responsibilities of cleaning, laundry, cooking and running errands. Each household is unique therefore the duties and responsibilities are discussed at interview stage, covering a broad range of duties from cooking to laundry, shopping to cleaning and beyond.

Private housekeeping jobs require a multi-skilled and highly proactive professional. They may be asked to act as Personal Assistant, Security, Cook or even Events Organiser. But generally, the role is as it sounds – to oversee, manage and be responsible for the upkeep of the household. A successful Private Housekeeper is a multi-faceted role, above all in a modern-day world where housekeeping services extend to so much more than light dusting and making beds.

General housekeeping duties are to ensure the smooth running of the household as well as cleanliness and maintenance of all residences.
