A vibrant family in Beckenham, London, is in search of a child-friendly Temporary Part-Time Housekeeper to maintain a consistently clean and organidsed home. The ideal candidate is organised, hardworking, and proactive in handling housekeeping tasks. This part-time position requires assistance in putting the house in order Monday to Friday, 3.30 – 4.00pm onwards, for 3-4 hours each day.

The full-time mum, dedicated to her newborn and toddler during the day, finds it challenging to complete housekeeping tasks. The Housekeeper’s role is crucial in organizing the house after the day, especially while the mum tends to the children’s bedtime routine.

Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4.00-8.00 pm
Start Date: ASAP, until the end of December.

Duties Include:

• Vacuuming and mopping floors
• Changing bed linen
• Cleaning the kitchen
• Bathroom sink and mirror cleaning
• Folding and organizing freshly ironed clothes
• Laundry and ironing for the family
• Dusting
• Hoovering carpets and floors
• Ensuring all bedrooms are consistently clean

While no nanny duties are involved, it is essential that the housekeeper is comfortable with children and understands the dynamics of a household with young kids.

The client aims to start immediately, and the role will continue until the end of December. There is a potential for the position to become permanent for the right candidate from March 2024 onward. Interviews are currently in progress!
